Detach clutch housing from transmission

 Only perform on transmission without integrated clutch housing.

Attach transmission to assembly device

Remove shift mechanism

Transmission 714.668/690/692 with "Manual" gearshift, code G62

Transmission 714.691/692 with electronic power shift (EPS), code G61

Remove rear transmission housing

Install separator (1) under inner race of tapered roller bearing of countershaft



Bolt crossmember (2) to main shaft using the stretch bolt of the output flange



Connect separator (1) and crossmember (2) using spindle



Lift countershaft and main shaft together out of front transmission housing

 Use suitable lifting gear.

Pull out oil guide tube (3)

Only on transmission 714.690/691/692

Install in the reverse order
