Attach transmission to assembly stand

Remove oil drain screw (1) and drain oil.

Screw in oil drain screw (1) and tighten fully.



Place front section of transmission housing (7) in workshop press and press out drive shaft (41).

 The drive shaft (41) must be removed. The rear section of transmission housing (6) and front section of transmission housing (7) can only be assembled correctly if the drive shaft (41) is pressed onto the main shaft (27) before assembly.

 Inspect sealing surface of output flange (3) for traces of wear, corrosion and damage; install new output flange (3) if necessary.

Fill with transmission oil

 The transmission must be in the installation position.

 Correct oil level = 10 mm below bottom edge of filler opening.

 Carry out measurement e.g. with angled hexagon socket wrench.


