Remove/Install

Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Drain coolant

Removal: Remove cap at expansion reservoir

Remove air cleaner housing (2) with expansion reservoir

Remove retaining bolts (4, 9)

Remove radiator unit (3) with front end

Remove retaining bolt (13) at front end

Separate charge air cooler (12) from radiator (11)

Push back safety catch using a screwdriver (arrow).

Install in the reverse order

Inspect cooling system for leaks
