Remove/install oil return line of the first stage turbocharger

Remove/install

Remove air intake hose (5) downstream of the air filter

Seal connection fittings of the turbocharger with exhaust manifold (1)

Lift/jack up vehicle

Remove bolts (2) of the oil return line (3) at the turbocharger with exhaust manifold (1)

 Installation: Replace seal and ensure the correct installation position of the seal. The lug of the gasket must point toward the oil return line (3).



Turn oil return line (3) to the side and pull it out of the crankcase

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and ensure the correct seating of the oil return line (3).

Remove rubber seal (4)

 Installation: Install new rubber seal (4).

Install in the reverse order

Check engine oil level, correct if necessary

 The engine oil level must not be above the maximum mark. This can lead to engine damage.



Carry out engine test run and check engine for leaks around the oil return line (3)
