1 | Remove heat shield (23) | ||
2 | Take off clip (11) at turbocharger (1) | ||
3 | Unscrew nuts (10) at bracket (9) | Installation: Replace self-locking nuts (10). | |
4 | Detach air intake hose (22) and charge hose (19) at turbocharger (1) | Inspect condition of hoses and hose clamps (20, 21), replace if necessary. Thoroughly clean connection points otherwise the charge air hoses may jump off during operation. | |
5 | Detach vacuum line (3) at vacuum unit (2) | ||
6 | Detach oil feed line (5) at cylinder head and at turbocharger (1) | Counter-hold connection at turbocharger, replace seal (7) | |

7 | Detach oil return flow line (16) at turbocharger (1) | Collect oil which flows out in a suitable vessel. | |
Installation: Install new gasket (14) and sealing ring (15). Pay attention to installation position of gasket (14) | |||

8 | Take off support (12) | Installation: Slacken bottom bolt (13) in order to be able to install the support free of stress | |

9 | Detach turbocharger (1) at exhaust manifold | | |
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
11 | Inspect oil level in engine, adjust to correct level if necessary | ||
