	Remove and install
Danger!	Risk of accident by involuntary vehicle movement with engine running. Risk of injury by compression and burning due to contact during engine start operation or contact with running engine	Chock vehicle to prevent involuntary movement. 1	Turn off main switch or disconnect negative battery cable	 Loosen screw fastening negative cable to side member, avoiding separation of battery terminals.
2	Remove lower protection plate
Danger!	Risk of injury to skin and eyes resulting from burns caused by overheated vapor or coolant. Risk of poisoning by coolant ingestion	Open the cooling system only at temperatures below 90 °C. Cautiously open the filler cap to release excess pressure. Coolant must not be stored in beverage or drinking water containers. Wear gloves, adequate clothing and safety goggles.	AS20.00-B-0001-01A
3	Drain coolant from cooling system after removing plugs in engine block and lower radiator section	 Collect coolant in an adequate vessel for proper disposal.
		Installation: Fill cooling system with new coolant, quantity according to specification.	AP20.00-B-0001A

4	Tilt cab to 2nd stage		AR60.80-B-0010A
5	Remove after-cooler (2)	 Engine OM 364 LA and 366 LA.	AR09.41-B-6817C
6	Loosen lateral supports fastening fan deflector to engine
7	Remove screws (9) fastening fan deflector to radiator	 Withdraw fan deflector from radiator.
8	Loosen and remove struts fastening radiator to chassis side members
9	Remove screws (8) fastening radiator to mountings		*BA20.20-B-1005-02A
10	Remove radiator (1)	 Remove through lower vehicle section.
		 Place radiator (1) in a suitable place to keep it from being damaged.
		Installation: Check radiator (1) for damages and leak tightness, clean or replace as necessary.
11	Install in reverse order	 Run engine to normal working temperature, verify leak tightness and correct engine coolant level.
