6 | Detach gate shift cylinder (3) with lines installed on transmission (1) and place to one side | The gearshift must be in neutral. | |

9 | Detach compressed-air line (9) from distributor | ||
10 | Detach electrical wiring harness (5) at transmission (1) and place to one side | ||
11 | Unplug connector from speed sensor (B17) | ||
12 | Remove bolts of support arm (6) on left and right of frame | ||
13 | Detach propeller shaft (7) at output flange of transmission (1) and place to one side | ||
14 | Disconnect adapter or connections on PTO | ||
15 | Detach lines for transmission oil cooling on transmission (1) and put to one side | Only with code (N55) Transmission oil cooling. | |
16 | Extract hydraulic oil from the expansion reservoir of the clutch master cylinder | ||

17 | Detach hydraulic hose of clutch (13) on transmission (1) | Catch escaping hydraulic fluid. | |

18 | Remove clamps (11) for fastening the battery lines (10) and put the battery lines (10) to one side | ||
19 | Loosen wiring harness (12) from the brackets on the frame and push to one side | ||
20 | Detach exhaust pipe (14) from flap fitting of engine brake and from timing case | ||
21 | Detach muffler (15) at the carriers and press outwards with the exhaust pipe (14) | ||
22 | Raise transmission (1) approx. 20 mm using a transmission jack and support the engine at the timing case using a suitable means | When lifting pay attention to the fan on the engine. | |
