Remove air filter housing

 Bolt, heat shield to cylinder head/bracket for air filter

Remove air intake pipe

Remove poly-V belt

Remove coolant hose (2) from timing case

Release clamp (1)

 Hose clamp pliers

Remove coolant hose (2) from coolant pump (5) and secure it outside the working area

Remove coolant hose to cooler from coolant pump (5)

Remove screw/bolt (6s)

 Bolt, coolant line to coolant pump

Remove screw/bolt (4s)

 Bolt, feed pipe to coolant pump

Remove coolant line (3) from coolant pump (5)

 Installation: Replace sealing ring.

Release clamp (7)

 Hose clamp pliers

Detach coolant hose (8) from coolant pump (5), unclip from bracket (9) and place to one side

Remove ATL coolant lines from coolant pump (5)

Remove screws/bolts (5s)

 Screw, coolant pump to timing case/crankcase/oil pan

Remove coolant pump (5) from crankcase and remove

 Installation: Replace seal.

Install in the reverse order

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Carry out engine test run and check the engine cooling system for proper function and leaktightness
