1 | Open engine hood and move to vertical position | ||

Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. | |

4 | Remove poly-V belt | ||
5 | Remove cylinder head cover | ||
6 | Remove front cover at cylinder head | ||
7 | Remove camshaft adjuster (1) of exhaust camshaft | ||
8 | Pull out tensioning rail bolts (2) at cylinder head (3) | Use a screwdriver to remove plug. | |

9 | Pull out tensioning rail (4) | ||
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
