Danger!

Risk of injury to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid

Depressurize hydraulic system completely before starting any work on system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.

AS00.00-Z-0013-01A

Danger!

Risk of death. There is a risk of death to persons located within the dumping area or underneath the raised dumping platform during operation. Risk of injury There is a risk of body parts being crushed or pinched when the dumping platform is lowered.

All persons must remain outside the dumping area of the dumping platform during its operation. Always secure the dumping platform with platform supports before starting any work underneath it.

AS55.20-Z-0001-01A

1.1

Unscrew drain screw (8) on oil reservoir for electrohydraulic dumper system (7)

Electrohydraulic dumper system only.

If it is not possible to fill the reservoir when the dumping platform is lowered, the dumping platform must be raised slightly and supported before draining the hydraulic fluid.

1.2

Detach high-pressure hose (1) from the pressure line (arrow)

Engine-driven dumper system only.

If it is not possible to fill the reservoir when the dumping platform is lowered, the dumping platform must be raised slightly and supported before draining the hydraulic fluid.

Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

AS00.00-Z-0005-01A

2

Start engine and run at idling speed

Engine-driven dumper system only.

3

Switch on power take-off, drain hydraulic fluid

Engine-driven dumper system only.

As soon as the hydraulic fluid stops flowing out of the high-pressure hose, switch off the power take-off immediately and turn off the engine.

4.1

Screw in drain screw (8) on oil reservoir for electrohydraulic dumper system (7)

Electrohydraulic dumper system only.

4.2

Attach high-pressure hose (1) to the pressure line (arrow)

Engine-driven dumper system only.

5

Clean the cap (4) and the area around it

6

Take off cap (4)

Do not remove the fine-mesh filter (5) in the filler neck.

Reservoir with oil filter in oil return and air filter for equalization air: Clean filter elements and check condition; replace damaged filter elements.

7

Fill oil reservoir with hydraulic fluid up to the middle of the fine-mesh filter (5) or to the uppermost mark on the oil dipstick

8

Close cap (4)

Checking

9

Start engine and switch on power take-off switch (2)

10

Operate dumping platform switch (3) and raise dumping platform fully

11

Support the dumping platform

Remaining underneath an unsupported dumping platform is life-threatening and is therefore prohibited.

12

Switch off power take-off and turn off engine

13

Check fluid level in oil reservoir for engine-driven dumper system (6) and electrohydraulic dumper system (7)

Oil reservoir without dipstick:
remove fine-mesh filter (5). There must be approximately 40 - 50 mm of oil in the reservoir (A), top up if necessary.

Oil reservoir with dipstick:
The oil level must not be below the lower marking (arrow) on the dipstick; top up hydraulic fluid if necessary.

14

Seal off oil reservoir for engine-driven hydraulic dumper system (6) or oil reservoir for electrohydraulic dumper system (7) with cap (4)

15

Lower the dumping platform
