Coolant temperature actual value
If an open circuit or short circuit occurs, a switchover is made immediately from the current actual value to a substitute value. The substitute value used is the fuel temperature. It is only possible to read the fault from the fault memory.
Intake air temperature actual value
If an open circuit or short circuit occurs, a switchover is made immediately from the current actual value to a substitute value. Consequently, it is not possible to clearly detect a fault. It is only possible to read the fault at the fault memory.
Charge pressure actual value
If no charge pressure is present, a switchover is made immediately from the current actual value to a substitute value, which is very close to the actual value. Consequently, it is not possible to clearly detect the fault. It is only possible to read the fault at the fault memory.
Engine speed actual value
When the engine speed appears in the HHT display, the idle speed set value computed by the control module appears on the left and the engine speed actual value on the right. Both figures should differ only slightly from each other.
