Ignition OFF, general points
For ignition OFF, first the engine and then the engine management are switched off in the CDI control unit (N3/28).
Function sequence for ignition OFF
For ignition OFF, the ignition lock switch (S2) switches off the relay circuit 15 via the fuse and relay module control unit (N50). If the CDI control unit receives the "Circuit 15 OFF" signal over circuit 15 relay, the following assembly parts will be switched off and the processor power-down is started:
Fuel pump with fill level sensor (M3/3)
Pressure regulating valve (Y74)
Fuel injectors (Y76)
Quantity control valve (Y94)
