Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Drain and collect coolant



Drain air conditioning system

Engine 926.969 in model 437.467
with code M25 (Air conditioning compressor reinforced)
Only if the capacitor is attached to the cooler unit (1).

 Installation: Fill air conditioning system and inspect for leaktightness and proper operation.

Remove refrigerant lines on condenser and bracket at the radiator unit (1)

with code M25 (Air conditioning compressor reinforced)
Only if the capacitor is attached to the radiator unit (1).

Remove fuel cooler from the radiator unit (1)

Engine 926.9 in model 437.467
with code KT6 (Fuel cooler, raised)

Remove V-belt for fan

Remove return hose (23) from hydraulic fluid reservoir (20)

Mark installation position of nut (24)

Unscrew nut (25) and remove washer with spacers

Remove screws/bolts (22) and remove holder (21) from hydraulic fluid reservoir (20)

Remove charge air hoses (2, 3) from radiator unit (1)

Unscrew nut (4) and remove washer with spacers

The nut (6) must be screwed in the direction of the radiator unit (1) until the grab bar (5) can be pulled out of the fan frame (8)

Remove coolant hoses (7, 9) from radiator unit (1)

Unscrew nut (10) and remove washer with spacers

The nut (12) must be screwed in the direction of the radiator unit until the grab bar (11) can be pulled out of the fan frame (8)

 The nut (12) must be unscrewed in the direction of the radiator unit (1) until the grab bar (11) can be pulled out of the fan frame (8).

Remove oil lines (13) and catch escaping oil

Remove coolant hose (14) at the radiator unit (1)

Remove bracket (15) from fan frame (8)

Unscrew nuts (16)

 Counterhold screw/bolts.

Attach bracket (17, 18) to radiator unit (1)

Lead a retaining strap (19) through the bracket (17, 18)

Lead a retaining strap through the fan frame (8)

 The retaining strap must be attached to the fan frame (8) in the area of the coolant hose (7, 9).

Hook retaining straps in a crane and remove radiator unit (1)

24

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check coolant level


