Fault code description - ME-SFI - camshaft Hall sensor

2	Fault storage Activation of malfunction indicator lamp for engine diagnosis (EURO3/4) or CHECK ENGINE (MIL) 	after the end of the test period and faults after two successive driving cycles with faults
3	Frequency of the test	continuous
4	Checked signal or status	Camshaft Hall sensor signal
5	Fault setting conditions Plausibility No signal Number	within 2 engine rotations the signal must change from 0 to 1 and from 1 to 0 max. 1 signal change per engine rotation
6	Test prerequisites	- engine speed 25 - 6000 rpm - no fault in crankshaft position sensor
7		If the signal from the camshaft Hall sensor is not available or if false synchronization is detected, fuel cut-off is implemented to prevent damage to the TWC.
