We would like to present you with important information for the installation of the platform inlay (1) into the above-mentioned vehicles.
Before retrofitting the platform inlay (1), the design status (2) must be checked.
If the platform inlay (1) has the design status (2) 004 or 005, the following adaptations must be performed:
Cut hatched area above socket bore (4) to dimension (A) (17 mm) using a suitable tool and seal bore (3) with seal plug (5) (A 000 998 32 55).
After the adaptations have been carried out, the platform inlay (1) can be installed according to WIS document (AN60.30-S-0001P). In contrast to the statement made in the current WIS document (AN60.30-S-0001P) the socket cover is (6) not to be removed.
