Remove internal Torx bolt (19a) and remove electrohydraulic controller unit (19)

 According to condition:

Disassemble and assemble electrohydraulic controller unit

Detach output flange (48)

 Socket wrench bit

Press out radial sealing ring (20)

Remove shim (67a)

 As of transmission no. 1658778.

Remove circlip (68)

Remove deep-groove ball bearing (67) from transmission housing

Remove shim (18)

Unscrew internal Torx bolts (1a, 2a) from converter housing and transmission housing

Torx insert for Torx bolts

Take transmission housing (2) off torque converter housing (1)

Continued operations according to findings:

Remove/install multi-disc clutch K1, K2 and K3

Remove/install multi-disk brake B2, disk pack B3 and park pawl gear

Assemble

Insert both Teflon rings (12a) in the groove with grease so that the joint stays together

Mount transmission housing (2) on converter housing (1)

 Align discs of multiple-disc brakes B2 and B3

Screw in internal Torx bolts (1a, 2a)



Measure end play between park pawl gear and grooved ball bearing

 Only necessary when installing new parts, e.g. gear set, output shaft etc.
