Remove grooved ball bearing in rear transmission housing

Remove retaining ring of grooved ball bearing with pliers.

 Screw in collet into  puller and tighten.

 Attach puller over the bearing inner race.

Turning the upper part of the  puller counterclockwise (arrow)  tightens the collet (picture A).

Pull grooved ball bearing out of the transmission housing (picture B).
