	Disassemble
2	Remove securing device (10) and ball socket (7) on ball stud (8)
3	Remove engine brake cylinder (9)
4	Remove lever (6)	 Mark installation position of lever (6) relative to the notch on the engine brake shaft (2) (arrow).
5	Remove bracket (5)

9	Check ball stud (7) and ball socket (8) for wear	 Replace ball socket (7) or ball stud (8) if necessary.

10	Close engine brake valve (4) and mount lever (6) over the splines onto engine brake shaft (2) and tighten	 When in the closed position, the engine brake valve (4) must be at the end stop in engine brake valve fitting (1). Observe identification (arrow) of the installation position of lever (6) relative to notch on the engine brake shaft (2).

11	Install engine brake cylinder (9) onto bracket (5)

14	Clip ball socket (7) onto engine brake cylinder (9) with pretension onto ball stud (8) and install with securing device (10)

		 Do not attach compressed-air line on engine brake cylinder (9)
