1 | Remove poly V-belt | ||
2 | Remove cylinder head cover | ||
3 | Disconnect ground cable at battery | ||
4 | Unbolt retaining plate (13) at fuel filter and detach fuel pipes | ||
5 | Detach fuel pipes at 1st injection nozzle | ||
6 | Remove bracket together with fuel filter | | |
7 | Detach accelerator control cable, attach | ||
8 | Remove injection pipes of inline injection pump | ||

9 | Detach vacuum pipes at vacuum pump, connect | ||
10 | Detach vacuum pipes at pneumatic idle speed increase, vacuum unit for engine stop and thermovalve (arrows) | ||
11 | Unplug connector (17) from the thermal sensor | Cable is disturbance when taking out injection pump | |
12 | Remove vacuum pump (18) | Position engine to TDC. The vacuum pump is not tensioned by the spring in this position. | |
13 | Remove chain tensioner | ||
14 | Remove dished washer of injection timing device | ||

15 | Unscrew hexagon bolt (1) at supporting bracket of injection pump | ||

16 | Unscrew bolts attaching injection pump and take off four-point nuts | Bolts have different lengths Installing: remove blocking screw | |

17 | Pull out injection pump | Tilt the rear end up and lift injection pump up and out Installing: the securing holes should be centered relative to the slots on the flange | |
18 | Take off adjusting bolt (7) at the crankcase | Installing: insert adjusting bolt into pump flange before installing the injection pump | |

22 | Insert screw plug into injection pump and tighten | ||
