 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Check

Unscrew cap of expansion reservoir.

Check coolant level.

 Check and correct the coolant level only when the coolant temperature is between 0 °C and 20 °C.
The cooling system is correctly filled when the coolant is visible in the filler neck. Check the corrosion and antifreeze protection before correcting the coolant level.

Check anticorrosion and antifreeze protection.

 To do so, remove coolant from the coolant circuit at a suitable position.

If the wrong concentration of anticorrosion and antifreeze protection has been added,



correct the concentration of anticorrosion and antifreeze protection.

Correct coolant level; to do so, add coolant up to "MAX" marking of coolant expansion reservoir.
