The coolant level in the low temperature cooling circuit in a cold engine must be level with the mark (arrow) on the expansion reservoir (1). At engine operating temperature, the coolant level must lie approx. 10 mm above the mark (arrow).

When the coolant is cold, the coolant level of the battery cooling circuit must lie at the lower edge of the indentation (arrow) on the expansion reservoir (2).
At the coolant's operating temperature, the coolant level must lie approx. 10 mm above the lower edge of the indentation (arrow).
