Remove

Remove chain tensioner(6).

Remove right cylinder head cover.

Remove left cylinder head cover.

Attach hold-down tools (5) to center bearing positions of camshafts(3, 4).

 This relieves the load on the camshaft brackets.

Disconnect timing chain (1).

Damage may occur otherwise.

 Spin engine at screw (2) in direction of engine rotation.
