The program is run interactively display on the HHT screen.

It is important to follow the sequence described below otherwise the vehicle will not be calibrated correctly.

1

Connect the HHT

With M 602 (12V unit), connect at 2nd diagnostic socket (24V).

2

Vent air bellows at rear axle

The pressure in the air bellows must not exceed the maximum of 7 bar.

3

Vent the air bellows at front axle

The pressure in the air bellows must not exceed the maximum of 7 bar.

With Code CE3.

Calibrate driving level

4

Raise frame at rear, insert spacer pad and lower frame onto spacer pad

Dimension A depends on the vehicle model

Spacer pad for level control

Models 668.3, 670.3 with Code CE2, CE3 and electronic level adjustment (ELA)

WF58.50-N-3222-01C

5

Raise frame at front, insert spacer pad and lower frame onto spacer pad

With Code CE3.

6

Save adjustment value using the HHT

The values for the rear on the left and right must not deviate more than 5 counts If the difference is greater than 5 counts, the installation position of the rear position sensors must be checked.

Calibrate the upper limit

7

Determine the values for the limit

Paul air suspension:

Rear axle: calibrated level + 60 counts

Front axle:calibrated level + 40 counts

MB air suspension:

Rear axle: calibrated level + 40 counts

Front axle: calibrated level + 40 counts

8

Raise frame at front until the value for the upper limit is reached

With Code CE3.

9

Raise frame at rear until the value for the upper limit is reached

With Paul air suspension:

The safety ropes must not be completely taut.

10

Save adjustment value using the HHT

11

Remove spacer pads at front and rear

Calibrate the lower limit

12

Lower the frame at the rear until the axle stop (hollow rubber spring) is reached

13

Lower the frame at the front until the axle stop (hollow rubber spring) is reached

With Code CE3.

14

Save adjustment value using the HHT

15

Erase ELA fault memory

If the vehicle has been calibrated correctly, the "ELA" and "Level Control" indicator lamps extinguish and the vehicle is adjusted to the correct level.
