Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Open engine hood

 See Operator's Manual

Unscrew the cap (1) on the expansion reservoir (2)

 Turn the cap (1) counterclockwise one half-turn, release the pressure, and then unscrew the cap (1).

Detach lower engine compartment paneling



Remove/install bottom engine compartment paneling

Unscrew drain plug (5) at radiator (6) and drain coolant

 Collect coolant

Filling

Screw tight drain plug (5) at radiator (6)

Install lower engine compartment paneling.



Remove/install bottom engine compartment paneling

Connect filling device (3) with adapter (4) to expansion reservoir (2), evacuate cooling system and then fill

 Use the adapter (4) from the brake fluid change device.

Observe instruction manual from filling device (3) manufacturer.



 Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Carry out engine test run

 Until the cooling fan is switched on.

Check coolant level, adjust to correct level if necessary.
