6 | Release connection (9) of the hydraulic piping in the emission cylinder (8) | Place an appropriate container below the gearbox (1) and clan any dirtiness of the brake fluid. Cover hydraulic piping connection (9). | |
7 | Remove emission cylinder (8) | ||
8 | Remove cables and fixation ribbons from gearbox (1) | ||
9 | Remove gear selection cable (5) and gear coupling cable (6) | Attention not to change the gear selection cables adjustment (5) and that of the gear coupling cable (6). | |
10 | Remove reverse gear light switch electrical connector (4) | ||
11 | Remove electrical connectors from the neutral position switch (12) and the exit rotation transmitter (14) | ||
12 | Remove screws (15) at the exit flange (13) and remove transmission shaft (16) | Mark exit flange position (13) as to the transmission shaft (16). In that case, mark the position on the secondary shaft notch. If this procedure is not observed and it is assembled out of its original position, the transmission shaft will be unbalanced, causing serious vibration problems on the vehicle. | |
13 | Remove screws (10) from the rear support (11) of the gearbox | ||
14 | Remove screws (2) of gearbox fixation to the engine | ||
15 | Support gearbox (1) and remove it | Use an appropriate winch or pulley block. | |
| Clean | ||
16 | Clean well all components | Dry clean components linked to the gearbox, do not use chemical products. | |
| Check | ||
17 | Verify the gearbox components condition | Verify as to damages and worn parts and replace all necessary components. | |
18 | Align clutch disk mounted on the flywheel | Before being installed on the vehicle, the gearbox (1) must be completely mounted and with the clutch housing, including the clutch hydraulic activation and the exit flange (13) of the crankshaft (16) | |
Lubricate the primary shaft grooving with long last grease before installing gearbox. | |||

19 | Install gearbox (1) and place screws (2) | The gearbox (1) must be aligned and centralized to facilitate the primary shaft fitting into the clutch disk. | |

20 | Install screws (10) on the rear support (11) of the gearbox (1) | The final tightening of screws (10) of the rear support (11) must be done after the gearbox (1) is fixated to the engine. | |

22 | Install transmission shaft (16) and place screws (15) | Attention to the right shaft mounting position (16) as to the exit flange (13). | |

23 | Install emission cylinder (8) | | |

28 | Install electrical connectors on the reverse gear switch (4) and the neutral position switch (12) | ||
29 | Fill gearbox with oil | ||

30 | Clean around gearbox any dirtiness of oil or brake fluid | ||
