Risk of injuries while tilting the cab

No person should remain in the cab's tilting area.

For safety reasons, keep the cab tilt area free and take measures to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing the site.

Risk of trapping and crushing when returning the cab

To carry out work under the cab, it is necessary to take safety measures to prevent it from suddenly moving backwards.

Always tilt the cab up to its final position.

Install additional safety devices (for example: props suitable for this purpose and/or safety cables) between the cab and the chassis.

Before tilting the cab back

Apply and confirm the safety measures to prevent the vehicle from moving accidentally.

In vehicles fitted with manual transmission, place the shifter in neutral.

For vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, place the lever in the “N” (neutral) position.

Remove all loose objects inside the cab (for example: boxes, bottles, tools, bags etc.)

Make sure that the doors are correctly locked, preventing them from opening when the cab is tilted.

Always tilt the cab until its final position.

Protect the tilting area, especially the drive device, from unauthorized access (for example: insulation or a safety supervisor).

Do not in any circumstances work under the partially tilted cab.

Before returning to the cab, leave the tilting area. Make sure that no one has access to it.
