	Remove
1	Remove the cylinder head		AR01.30-B-5800TA
2	Remove the combined injector holder		AR07.03-B-6831TC
3	Remove the intake valves (1) and exhaust valves (2)		AR05.30-B-3511A
4	Remove the Top Brake valve (3)	 Only engines with Top Brake.	AR01.50-B-1000TA
	Check
5	Measure the height of the cylinder head (H)	 If necessary replace the cylinder head.	*BE01.30-B-1001-02C
6	Check the cylinder head mating surface for unevenness	 A small longitudinal deviation of the surface does not require correction, it will be compensated by the cylinder head gasket.	*BE01.30-B-1002-02C
	Machining
7	Machine the cylinder head mating surface	 Only machine the cylinder head mating surface, when  there are areas with erosion or damaged;
		 there is an inadmissible surface deviation in the longitudinal direction; and,	*BE01.30-B-1002-02C
		 the height of the cylinder head (H) still permits stock removal.	*BE01.30-B-1002-02C
		 At machining:
		 if the quality specifications of the cylinder head mating surface are not reached, leaks may occur.	*BE01.30-B-1003-02C
		 after machining, the height of the cylinder head (H) must not be below the specified measurement, otherwise damages may occur on the engine components.	*BE01.30-B-1001-02C
8	clean the cylinder head
	Measurement
9	Install the intake valves (1) and the exhaust valve (2) in the cylinder head
10	Measure and take note of the valve recess (B) in relation to the cylinder head surface and the permissible difference between the intake valves (1)		AR05.30-B-4100-01DD
