6.7.00

ENGINE 166.961 /991, 668.914 in MODEL 414.700 with CODE (GS5) AKB - automatic clutch actuation

Function

If the accelerator pedal is not actuated and the 1st, 2nd or R gear is engaged,

the automatic clutch system control module (N15/4) calculates a defined clutch torque (creeping torque). The actuator elements (central control unit, hydraulic connecting line, and hydraulic central clutch operator) engage the clutch according to this calculated value.

Caution:

The clutch control allows the vehicle to "creep" forwards in a similar way to a conventional automatic transmission when the brakes are released, a gear is engaged, and the accelerator pedal is not actuated.

(1st, 2nd and R gear only).

When the service and parking brakes are released the vehicle starts to move automatically.
