 Installation: New combination brake cylinders (2) are delivered in released position.



 Only combination brake cylinders made by Knorr.

Apply parking brake

Detach compressed-air lines (4)

 Installation: Replace O-rings.

With compressed air connection system "VOSS 230".

With compressed air connection system "VOSS 232" (NG 8, 12) or "SCHÄFER SDF" (NG 6).

Remove combination brake cylinder (2)

 Installation: Check the connection housing of the brake caliper and the combination brake cylinder (2).

If there is condensation water or corrosion in the connection housing of the brake caliper, a new brake caliper must be installed:



Disk brake SB 5000, SB 6000, SB 7000, SN 6000, SN 7000

If there are traces of corrosion on the sealing surfaces of the housing opening and the brake lever on the combination brake cylinder (2) a new combination brake cylinder (2) must be installed.

Clean sealing surfaces on the combination brake cylinder (2) and brake caliper. Coat spherical cap (5) at brake lever with assembly grease.

Use new self-locking nuts (1).
