Drive vehicle to alignment check bay

 The chassis alignment must be carried out on a horizontal, level and clean base.

An alignment check bay with a workshop pit is a substantial advantage.

Align the front section and rear section of articulated bus

Move vehicle to driving level

 See operator's manual.
Ensure an adequate compressed-air supply throughout the entire measurement process.

Position vehicle on turnplates

 Observe operator's manual of axle measuring device.



Only the toe-in, caster and wheel angle can be adjusted at the front axle.

Adjust toe-in

 Only carry out if the toe-in is incorrect and has to be adjusted.

Place front wheels in straight-ahead position

Check center steering position on steering gear, adjust if necessary

Check pressure reduction valves and adjust if necessary

 If the wheel angle was not correct and had to be adjusted.
