1	Remove lower engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105FF
2.1	Remove catalytic converter	On vehicles without code (K13) Diesel particulate filter	AR49.10-P-5500FG
2.2	Remove catalytic converter diesel particulate filter unit	On vehicles with code (K13) Diesel particulate filter	AR49.10-P-5501FF
3	Unscrew bolt (3).
4	Detach hose (2) at cylinder head (18)
5	Remove shield (1)
6	Remove bolts (19) on bracket (5) and bracket (5)
7	Detach oil return line (6) at turbocharger (8)		AR09.40-P-6020-06FG

8	Detach air hose (7) at turbocharger (8)
9	Remove air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1150FG
10	Detach charge air hose (11) at turbocharger (8)
11	Detach charge air hose (9) at charge air pipe (10)
12	Detach vacuum line (12) at vacuum unit (13)
13	Remove nut (14) for exhaust manifold (4) with which oil return line (6) is fixed in place	 Installation: Replace self-locking nut (14).

14	Unscrew banjo bolt (15)	 Installation: Replace sealing rings of banjo bolt (15).

15	Unscrew bolt (16) on oil feed line (17) from cylinder head (18)	 Installation: Install new self-locking bolt (16)

16	Pull oil feed line (17) out of cylinder head (18)	 Installation: Replace sealing ring of oil feed line (17).
17	Unscrew nuts of exhaust manifold (4)	 The exhaust manifold (4) is secured with a further seven nuts.
		 Installation: Install new self-locking nuts.

18	Remove exhaust manifold (4) together with turbocharger (8)	 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces, replace gasket of exhaust manifold (4)
19	Install in the reverse order
 Danger!	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the running engine	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
20	Conduct engine test run and check exhaust system in the area of exhaust manifold (4) for leaks
21	Check engine oil level using oil dipstick; correct engine oil level necessary	 Engine oil level must be between "Min" and "Max", otherwise engine damage could occur.
