Danger!

Risk of injuries to skin and eyes, due to burns caused by steam or overheated coolant. Risk of poisoning by swallowing coolant

Open the coolant system only when its temperature is below 90 °C. Open slowly the cover and let the excess pressure go out. Coolant should not be kept in beverage bottles. Use gloves, appropriate clothes and protective glasses.

Drain the coolant into a suitable container and dispose it in an environmentally safe way.

Installing: Fill the system with duly prepared new coolant.

Remove the head cover

Valid for engines with direct vent.

Remove the injection and return pipes.

Bending injection pipes is not permissible.

Remove the injection nozzle holders

Loosen and remove the protection sleeve (2)

Remove the sealing ring (3) from the cylinder head (4)

Installing: Install a new ring (3), lubricated with neutral grease.

Install in reverse order

Installing: Clean the sealing surfaces on the cylinder head and on the protection sleeve.
