3	Drain screw

 Warning	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself.  Warning	Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. 1	Set heater control to warm and the blower to stage 3.	 See owner's manual.
2	Open hood.

3	Unscrew cap (2) from expansion reservoir (1).
4	Open drain screw (3) and drain off coolant.	 Collect coolant in a suitable container. Drain off old coolant completely. Observe the legal provisions and local wastewater regulations for disposal.
5	Tighten drain screw (3) on radiator.	 Drain screw to engine radiator	*BA20.20-N-1001-01K
6	Pour in coolant up to the fold (A) or up to the Max. marking on the expansion reservoir (1).	 Use coolant of the specified composition only.

7	Screw down cap (2).
8	Start engine.
9	Ventilate engine cooling system and monitor coolant level continuously while doing so.	 Run engine at varying speeds and increase the coolant temperature to approx. 80 °C.
		If problems exist,
		
		slowly unscrew cap (2), add missing coolant with engine running then screw on cap (2) again.
		 The engine cooling system is correctly filled when the coolant is level with the fold (A) or the Max. marking on the expansion reservoir (1).
10	Switch off engine.
11	Check engine cooling system for leak tightness.	 Visual inspection.
12	Close hood.
