Disconnect battery ground line

Remove edge stripping (2) from bulkhead (1)

Disconnect electrical lines (3) from prefuse box (F32)

Pull cable duct (4) with bracket (7) upward out of bulkhead (1) and lay down to side

Unclip vacuum line (5) at front

Disconnect vacuum line (5) from rear separating point

Disconnect vacuum line (5) from cable duct (4)

Disconnect electrical connection from electrical wiring harness (9) on engine

Unhook bracket (22) from bulkhead (1)

Pull vacuum line (5) and electrical wiring harness (9) with cable duct (10) upward out of bulkhead (1) and lay down to side

Pull electrical wiring harness (9) with cable duct (10) upward out of bulkhead (1) and lay down to side

Disconnect electrical wiring harness (23) from pressure control unit (Y107/2)

Unclip electrical wiring harness (23) from bracket (24)

Pull electrical wiring harness (23) with cable duct (25) upward out of bulkhead (1) and lay down to side

Disconnect coolant hose (11) from coolant hose separating point (12) and lay down to side

 Installation: Check seal on coolant hose (11) for damage, replace if necessary.

Release catch hook (arrows) on coolant hose separating point (12) and press coolant hose separating point (12) out of bulkhead (1) toward rear

Remove bolt (13)

 Lift insulation mat (14) in area of bolt (13).

Unscrew bolts (19, 20)

Unscrew nuts (21)

Detach right heat shield (15) and left heat shield (16) from threaded pin on clip-on nuts (21)

Release nuts (17, 18)

 It is not necessary to unscrew the nuts (17, 18) completely.

Remove bulkhead (1) upward

Transfer insulation mat (14)

When replacing bulkhead (1).

Install in the reverse order
