Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Remove

Slowly open cap, release overpressure and then remove from coolant expansion reservoir.

Remove center engine compartment lining and front center engine compartment lining.

Drain off

Insert suitable hose on the drain fitting (1) at bottom right on engine cooling system cooler.

Open drain screw (2) on the engine cooling system cooler and drain off coolant in a suitable container.


Open drain screw (2) only until coolant starts to drain off.
Otherwise drain screw (2) and engine cooling system cooler might get damaged.

 Observe regulations for disposal of coolant.

Close drain screw (2) on engine cooling system cooler and detach drain hose.

Pour in

Pour in coolant and bleed engine cooling system.

 Re-use clean coolant.
