 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove

1

Remove upper right engine compartment lining.

Remove cap from engine cooling system expansion reservoir.

Remove lower center and front engine compartment lining.

Drain off

Slide drain hose onto drain fitting (2).

Loosen drain screw (4) and catch escaping coolant in a suitable container.

Tighten drain screw (2) and remove drain hose.

Pour in

Pour in coolant and bleed engine cooling system.
