Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Drain off

Carefully unscrew cap, relieve overpressure, and remove from engine cooling system expansion reservoir.

Remove lower engine compartment paneling.

Remove coolant hose (1) from cooler (2) and collect escaping coolant in a suitable container.

Attach drain hose to the drain valve of the coolant hose (1) and drain coolant via the drain valve of the coolant hose (1) into a suitable container.

Remove coolant hose (3) from oil cooler (4) and collect escaping coolant in a suitable container.

Install

Attach coolant hose (3) to the oil cooler (4).

Attach coolant hose (1) to cooler (2).

Close drain valve of the coolant hose (1) and attach drain hose of the drain valve.

Pour in coolant and bleed engine cooling system.
