4 | Secure rear section of exhaust system (7) with suitable means against falling down and remove rear elastomer bearing (1) from exhaust system (7). | Pliers | |

6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector at exhaust gas flap controller (M16/57). | ||
7 | Remove soot particulate sensor (N74b1) with soot particulate sensor control unit (N74). | ||
8 | Remove NOx sensor downstream of SCR catalytic converter (N37/8b1) with NOx sensor control unit downstream of SCR catalytic converter (N37/8). | ||
9 | Remove nuts (4) from bracket (5). | ||
10 | Release clip (6). | ||
11 | Remove front cross strut (3). | ||
12 | Remove rear cross strut (2) from body and remove center section of exhaust system (7). | Aid of helper required. | |

20 | Position center section of exhaust system (7) at vehicle and slightly tighten bolts of rear cross strut (2) by hand. | Aid of helper required. | |
21 | Position rear section of exhaust system (7) at vehicle and attach rear elastomer bearing (1) to exhaust system (7). | Aid of helper required. | |
22 | Check position of pipe clamp at separating point (T), correct if necessary. | ||

25 | Install rear cross strut (2). | Screw, center cross strut (rear) to frame floor assembly | |

27 | Install front cross strut (3). | Screw, center cross strut (front) to frame floor assembly | |
28 | Connect electrical connector to the exhaust gas flap controller (M16/57) and lock. | ||
29 | Install soot particulate sensor (N74b1) with soot particulate sensor control unit (N74). | ||
30 | Install NOx sensor downstream of SCR catalytic converter (N37/8b1) with NOx sensor control unit downstream of SCR catalytic converter (N37/8). | ||
