2	Detach and remove cover (1)
3	Remove both joint housings with drive shaft		AR33.20-P-0600A
4	Remove bearing bracket (2)	 Mark bearing bracket (2), shims and bearing outer races.
5	Remove differential assembly (3)	 Mount spreader onto the axle housing and spread until the differential assembly (3) can be removed.

6	Clean/check parts and replace if necessary	 Disassemble differential assembly (3) if necessary: 
		Disassemble/assemble differential assembly

	Install
7	Measure shims of differential assembly (3)	 Only after replacing parts of the differential assembly (3). Carry out the measurement analog to the rear axle measurement.	AR35.30-P-4815-03F

8	Install differential assembly (3)	 Install thinner shim on the ring gear side. Align bearing caps and bearing rollers by settling blows on the ring gear and rotate the ring gear several times at the same time.
