 	Remove/install
 Warning	Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted	Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure it with the safety strut.	AS60.80-Z-0001-01A
 Warning	Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. 1	Shift automatic transmission (1) to neutral position and switch off ignition
2	Secure vehicle against rolling
3	Tilt cab
4	Fully vent complete compressed-air system
5	Remove soundproofing and if necessary underride guard
6	Drain coolant	Engine 906.9	AR20.00-W-1142C
		Engine 902.9, 926.9	AR20.00-W-1142J
7	Remove coolant lines (2)
8	Remove drive shaft (3)		AR41.10-W-0050A
9	Remove adaptation or connections from power take-off
10	Disconnect electrical connectors from transmission/frame wiring harness
11	Detach electrical lines of batteries from automatic transmission (1) and from transmission bracket (7)
12	Detach holder of compressed air line from transmission bracket (7)
13	Disconnect electrical connector from vehicle speed sensor (B17)
14	Detach compressed air lines from solenoid valve (5)	 Only on transmission with retarder.
15	Unplug connector from retarder coolant temperature sensor (B85)	 Only on transmission with retarder.
16	Remove oil reservoir (4) with holder (6) and fasten to automatic transmission (1) using cable tie	 Only on transmission with retarder. Do not detach oil line (8) from oil reservoir (4) or retarder.
17	Support engine
18	Place commercial vehicle transmission plate on the garage-pit lifter
19	Fasten automatic transmission (1) to commercial vehicle transmission plate using tensioning straps and support using inspection pit lift

		 Pay attention to lines and detachable parts. Check drive plates for damage by visual inspection, replace if necessary.

		 Screw/bolt, automatic transmission to cylinder crankcase	*BA27.10-N-1003-04D

24	Install in the reverse order
25	Check oil level in automatic transmission (1) or add transmission oil		AR27.00-W-0101A
26	Check automatic transmission (1) for leak tightness
