Mount engine hoisting gear and raise engine

Only raise engine sufficiently until the engine mounts (7) are not under tension.
Otherwise, the engine mount (7) will be damaged.

Remove left catalytic converter

Remove left and right front axle shaft

Remove screw/bolts (4)

 Do not remove heat shield (3).

 Bolt, heat shield to engine support

Remove screw/bolt (5) from left engine mount (7)

 The left engine mount (7) remains on the front axle carrier.

Raise engine further


Ensure that during lifting that no cables and lines lie on the partition wall.
Damage can occur to cables and lines otherwise.

Remove screw/bolt (5) on right engine mount (7)

 Do not take out right engine mount (7) yet.

Remove front axle carrier

Remove right engine mount (7) to the front

 Installation: Ensure that the correct installation position is obtained when assembling the engine mount (7)..

 Always replace engine mount (7) in pairs.

 Pay attention to environmental regulations for disposal of engine mounts (7). Dispose of engine mounts (7) into mixed scrap.

Remove screw/bolts (6) at left engine mount (7)

 Screw/bolt, front engine mount to front axle carrier

Remove left engine mount (7) to the front

 Installation: Ensure that the correct installation position is obtained when assembling the engine mount (7)..
