Drive vehicle onto measuring station.



Select drive program "Sport".

Switch off easy entry and exit feature.

 Switching off takes place via buttons on steering wheel in the "Comfort" menu of the multifunction display, see operator's manual of the vehicle.

Open window on driver's door.

 Preparations for checking steering lock.

Carry out conditions and tests for wheel alignment measurement.

Unlock turn and slip plates.

Press switch on center console, and raise vehicle level and lower it again.

 Raising and lowering the vehicle reduces play in the suspension.

Insert brake pedal jack with adapter for brake pedal jack between brake pedal and driver's seat, and close driver's door.

 Protect brake pedal and driver's seat against any damage. Do not load vehicle any more.

Check vehicle level at front and rear axle with electronic inclinometer, and adjust if necessary.

Attach Mercedes-Benz quick-clamp holders.

Carry out input measurement.

 Refer to corresponding measuring system operator's manual.

Check camber on rear axle.

Adjust toe on rear axle.

According to results of initial measurement.
