4 Coolant hose (coolant pump)

5 Crankcase ventilation hose

6 Air intake hose

7 Charge air hose

8 Charge air hose (red)

9 Coolant hose (connection piece)

10 Coolant hose (coolant pump)

11 Coolant hose (distributor)

12 Plug connection of air cleaner monitoring sensor

13 Front end center section

Removing, installing

Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Remove front grill

Detach connections at air cleaner housing (3)

Slacken hose clamps of charge air hoses
(7, 8) at charge air cooler (1)

Inspect condition of hose clamps, replace if necessary.

Detach connections at radiator (2)

Remove hood lock in front end center section (13)

Pull cable for hood out of front end center section.

Take out radiator (2) together with charge air cooler (1)

Detach radiator unit at front end center section (13)

Install in the reverse order

Inspect coolant level and adjust to correct level
