Oil cooler

 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Drain off

Remove cap from coolant expansion reservoir.

Remove center and all front bottom engine compartment linings.

Remove oil cooler (5) and place to one side with connected lines.

Slide suitable drain hose onto drain fitting (4).

Open drain cock (3) and collect escaping coolant in suitable container.

 Open drain cock (3) only far enough for the coolant to flow out.

Close drain cock (3) and detach drain hose from the drain fitting (4).

Pour in

Attach oil cooler (5) to fan unit.

Pour in coolant and bleed engine cooling system.
