 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Switch on ignition

Adjust heater to maximum heat output

Unscrew cap (1) on coolant expansion reservoir (2)

4

Check coolant level and antifreeze content coolant



Apply a test pressure to the engine cooling system for 2 minutes


The specified test pressure must not be exceeded.
Damage will occur otherwise on the cooling circuit.

 There should be no pressure loss within a period of 2 minutes.

Check condition and coolant loss for all coolant carrying assembly parts and connections



Install

Actuate pressure relief button on the pressure pump (4) and remove test pressure in cooling circuit

Detach pressure pump (4) from tester cap (3)

Unscrew on tester cap (3) at coolant expansion reservoir (2)

Switch off ignition

Check and correct coolant level


