Remove/install

Unfasten oil filter cover (1) and lift slightly

 Installation: Replace oil filter and seal.

 Allow engine oil to drain out of oil filter and oil filter housing (2).

Remove oil line

Remove lower left engine air intake duct

Detach coolant line on oil filter housing (2)

Remove coolant lines on left ATL

Detach V-belt

Remove screw/bolt (3s) and detach guide pulley (3) on oil filter housing (2)

Unclip engine wiring harness on oil filter housing (2)

Detach bracket for oil line on oil filter housing (2)

When replacing oil filter housing (2).

Remove screw/bolts (4) for the oil filter housing (2) and remove oil filter housing (2) from the timing case cover

 Installation:
Always observe bolt plan for oil filter housing (2).
Damage can occur to oil filter housing (2) and timing case cover otherwise.

 Installation: Install new seal (5).

Install in the reverse order

Check engine oil level and correct


