Remove/install

Detach ground line from battery

Remove air filter housing

Remove throttle valve actuator (M166)

Detach charge air hose on the left at connection fitting (1)

Disconnect electrical connection at pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve (B28/6)

Disconnect electrical connection on charge air temperature sensor upstream of throttle valve (5)

Unclip electrical line on connection fitting (1) and remove connection fitting (1)

Remove poly-V belt

Disconnect electrical connection at alternator (G2)

Detach contact protection at alternator (G2)

Detach electrical line B+ (4) at alternator (G2)

 Nut, circuit B+ to alternator

Remove screw/bolts (2) and take out alternator (G2)

Alternator tightening procedure
