Remove

Remove ME-SFI control unit (N3/10) from the air filter housing (1) and place to one side with the connected lines.

Remove air intake pipe (2).

Open lock clips (7).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (4).

Unclip line clip (arrow A) from air filter housing (1).

Unclip bracket from wiring harness (5).

Remove screw (6).

 Screw, air filter housing to charge air distributor

Remove air filter housing (1).

 Installation: Wet elastomer bearings with lubricant.

Remove pressure sensor downstream of the air filter (B28/11).

When installing new air filter housing (1).



Check

Check elastomer bearing for wear and damage and replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order.
