Remove/install

Start control unit replacement with diagnostic system

When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).



Switch off the ignition and keep the transmitter key outside the transmitter range  (at minimum 2 m)

Disconnect battery ground line

Remove engine cover (1)

Remove screw/bolts (2)

 Bolt, ME-SFI control unit to air filter housing

Release and disconnect electrical connections (3, 4)

Remove control unit ME (N3/10)

 Installation: Check the condition and correct seating of the seal in air filter housing.

Install in the reverse order



Read out and erase fault memory


