Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

Remove/install

Detach the cold air guide (2) on the cold air intake manifold

Detach ball head  (3) from elastomer bearing at engine

Installation: Coat elastomer bearing at engine with antiseize paste.

Antifriction paste, rubber parts 2.5 kg, DBL 6867.00

Detach the elastomer bearings (4) and remove the engine cover (1) with the cold air guide (2) by moving it upwards

Installation: Coat elastomer bearings (4) with antiseize paste.

Check

Check elastomer bearings (4) and elastomer bearing at engine for damage

In the case of damage to elastomer bearings (4) and elastomer bearing at engine.

Replace elastomer bearings (4) and elastomer bearing at engine.
